Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Integration & Test Engineer for its maritime team. You will lead integration of subsystems, develop and execute test plans, and drive verification to ensure performance of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).

A strong background in systems engineering and test is required, with readiness to travel for field campaigns. The role involves working with cross-disciplinary teams, government-standard testing, and hands-on testing in field environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in systems engineering, integration, and test.
• Experience generating TRRs, Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical engineering, and software development concepts.
• Experience in field test and operational environments.
• Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and ability to use basic test equipment.
• Experience with Linux and command line interfaces as well as software debugging.
• Proficient in reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills (effective for broad audiences).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of your time, with potential over 25% during key test campaigns/surges.
• In this role, you will be subject to pre-employment and randomized substance screening, as required by the Company.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans for development, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Author/review detailed operational test reports documenting test execution for AUV platforms and capabilities.
• Participate in design reviews, requirements analysis, and system verification planning.
• Build, support, and maintain a test and evaluation program meeting government standards.
• Support day-to-day test operations, including pre-mission testing, launch/recovery, and data analysis.
• Assist integration of subsystems (sensors, navigation, propulsion, comms, autonomy software, power).
• Troubleshoot, repair, operate, and maintain AUVs in the field.
• Coordinate pre/post-mission logistics for test operations.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams through product design, integration, and test lifecycles.
• Set up, collect, and refine operational metrics.
• Support sea testing and offshore operations; work with Field Test Engineers.
• Support demonstration test events, including multi-week travel.
