Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Integration & Test Engineer to join our maritime team, leading the integration of subsystems and driving testing to ensure top-level system performance for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). You will communicate progress and risk to senior leadership, and guide design reviews and verification planning within a dynamic, multidisciplinary group.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in systems engineering, integration, and test.
• Experience generating TRRs, Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and software concepts.
• Experience in field test and operationally focused environments.
• Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and ability to use basic test equipment.
• Experience with Linux and command line interfaces as well as software debugging.
• Proficient in reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills — able to present engineering findings to senior leadership, executive stakeholders, and broad cross-functional audiences with clarity and confidence.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel 10% of your time, with potential over 25% during key test campaigns/surges.
• Subject to pre-employment and randomized substance screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive development, review, and execution of comprehensive test plans for development, integration, acceptance testing.
• Author and/or review detailed operational test reports documenting step-by-step test execution for AUV platforms and capabilities.
• Communicate test progress, findings, and risk assessments to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead design reviews, requirements analysis, and system verification planning to ensure project goals and standards.
• Build, support and maintain a test and evaluation program aligned with Government test & evaluation standards.
• Support day-to-day test operations for products/platforms and subassemblies, including pre-mission testing and data analysis.
• Lead integration of subsystems (sensors, navigation, propulsion, comms, autonomy software, power) into complete AUVs.
• Troubleshoot, repair, operate, and maintain AUVs in the field.
• Support pre/post-mission logistics for test operations.
• Mentor multidisciplinary engineers throughout design, integration, and test cycles.
• Set up, collect and refine operational metrics.
• Support local sea testing and offshore operations; assist in demonstration test events with travel.
