Job summary
Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers is seeking a Senior Marine Structural Engineer to lead complex port, marine, waterfront, and coastal resiliency projects. You will influence planning, analysis, design, rehabilitation, and construction of critical infrastructure with long-term impact.
As part of the Marine and Coastal Resiliency team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and partners to deliver constructible designs, mentor engineers, and contribute to business development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive marine/ waterfront design experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in a US state with ability to obtain multiple licenses.
Responsibilities
- Lead senior technical resource for port, marine and coastal resiliency projects.
- Design berthing/mooring systems, bulkheads, docks, piers and related structures.
- Prepare and review calculations, reports, plans and specs for reinforced concrete, steel, timber and foundations.
- Act as project engineer or deputy design manager on select projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
