Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Senior Marine Structural Engineer to lead marine design efforts for coastal resiliency projects. You will collaborate with coastal, civil, and geotechnical teams, deliver robust construction drawings, and mentor engineers to uphold safety and constructability standards.

This role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, and active engagement with districts to ensure design meets project objectives and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in civil/structural eng; masters preferred.
• 10+ years of marine structural design experience.
• PE license is required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• English proficiency; Spanish or French is a plus.
• Autonomy, initiative and prioritization ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead preliminary and detailed marine structure design.
• Perform analysis and oversee construction drawings.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to proposals.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Support development of MCR team and internal tools.
