Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of experience in claims or litigation.
• J.D. preferred.
• Strong knowledge of case law, statutes, and procedures in marine liability.

Responsabilités

• Proactively handle liability claims in a marine context to optimize payout.
• Assess coverage issues and issue appropriate letters/documentation.
• Complete timely investigation and set reserves.
• Pursue risk transfer opportunities and indemnity issues.
• Handle claims per RLI Best Practices.
• Attend mediations, settlements, or trials as needed.
