Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a seasoned mechanical/ocean engineer to design and develop marine and electro-mechanical systems for demanding maritime environments. You will create detailed drawings, models, and documentation to support development, testing, and production.

The role requires hands-on experience with FEA, 3D CAD tools, and a track record across the product lifecycle. Extensive MK 18 equipment experience, including SLRS/SGLR systems, is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical or ocean engineering.
• Minimum 4 years designing hardware for marine environments.
• At least 2 years using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/Solid Edge/Inventor).
• FEA experience for dynamic or complex systems.
• Minimum 10 years designing electro-mechanical systems across product lifecycle.
• Extensive MK 18 Support Equipment experience, including RHIB SLRS and SGLR systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop marine and electro-mechanical systems for demanding environments.
• Create detailed designs, models, drawings, and docs for development and testing.
• Perform FEA to assess structural integrity and dynamic performance.
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and production.
• Maintain 3D CAD models and technical data packages.
