Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies seeks a senior mechanical/ocean engineer to design and develop marine hardware and launch/recovery systems.

You will create detailed designs, models, and drawings to support prototyping, testing, and production; perform FEA analyses to ensure structural integrity and dynamic performance; maintain CAD models and data packages; and provide engineering support for MK 18 equipment to ensure mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Ocean Engineering.
• 10+ years designing and developing electro-mechanical hardware for marine environments.
• At least 2 years using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/Solid Edge/Inventor).
• FEA experience for dynamic or complex structural systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop marine and electro-mechanical systems for harsh maritime environments.
• Create detailed engineering designs, models, drawings, and documentation to support product development and testing.
• Perform FEA to evaluate structural integrity and dynamic performance.
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and production of hardware and launch/recovery systems.
• Develop and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and data packages.
• Provide engineering support for MK 18 Equipment and launch/recovery systems to ensure reliability.
