Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to own production test activities across our defense systems. You will troubleshoot complex electrical issues, maintain system-level test flow, and drive automation improvements on the manufacturing floor.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software and firmware teams and develop failure-mode libraries, test instructions, and RCCA actions to ensure high-quality, scalable production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics, computer, mechanical engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years in manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Experience with high‑voltage safety protocols (208V 3‑phase, 480V).

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of test activities in production and troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system to component level.
• Improve and sustain test systems to increase automation, consistency and coverage (DFM).
• Create test work instructions for MES and train technicians on equipment use.
• Develop library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides/diagrams.
• Determine root cause of product failures and recommend corrective actions (RCCA).
• Collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing to support returns and failure analysis.
• Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for new products (NPI).
• Analyze test data and document results to identify defects and improvements.
• Provide feedback to design engineers for product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Optimize test strategies for efficiency and reduced test time.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment for precision and reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes.
• Execute testing as required.
