Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, Manufacturing Test to join the EW Manufacturing Team. You will ensure production tests meet stringent standards while achieving required throughput, and you will push for automation, data analytics, and improved test interfaces.

You will develop test workflows, mentor technicians, analyze test data, and collaborate with design and quality teams to drive product quality and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS.
• Experience with contract manufacturers in the testing of PCBA/electronic assemblies.
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors.
• Strong root cause analysis skills of non-conforming hardware.
• Experience with PLM systems, MES, and TES.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of production test flow and provide hands‑on troubleshooting.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream.
• Improve automation, consistency, total cycle time, and test coverage (DfM).
• Generate test work instructions and train technicians on equipment use.
• Develop library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides/diagrams.
• Determine root cause of product failures and recommend corrective actions (RCCA).
• Collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams on returns and failure analysis.
• Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for NPI.
• Analyze test data and provide detailed reports identifying defects and improvement areas.
• Collaborate with design engineers to provide feedback and recommendations for product enhancements.
• Optimize test strategies for efficiency and effectiveness, reducing test time.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment for precision and reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes.
• Execute testing as required.
