Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer, Manufacturing Test to join the Electromagnetic Warfare team. You will own production test activities, troubleshoot issues, and push for automation and data-driven improvements to ensure high-quality, throughputs-driven manufacturing.

You will collaborate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to enhance test processes, analyze data, and support early-stage product testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS.
• Experience with contract manufacturers in the testing of PCBA/electronic assemblies.
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors.
• Strong root cause analysis skills of non‑conforming hardware.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensuring production test flow.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system level checks to component level validation.
• Improve and sustain existing test systems to improve automation and test coverage.
• Generate test work instructions and train technicians on equipment use.
• Develop library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Determine root cause of product failures and recommend corrective actions (RCCA).
• Collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams on returns and failure analysis.
• Provide feedback to early-stage test design for NPI.
• Analyze test data, document results, and provide detailed reports.
• Collaborate with design engineers for product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Optimize test strategies for efficiency and quality, calibrate test equipment.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Execute testing as required.
