Job summary

Haworth in Holland, MI is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Technician for a weekend shift to support production operations. You will troubleshoot complex equipment, implement process improvements, mentor junior technicians, and collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on upgrades.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and hands-on electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent; relevant certification or vocational training may be preferred.
• Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree in relevant field may be preferred or required.
• Work Experience: 3+ years operating manufacturing equipment or providing technical support.
• Physical ability: lift up to 50 lbs and work in a dusty/noisy environment with exposure to solvents.
• Must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance; legal right to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Programs, modifies, and optimizes PLC, HMI, and other automated control systems.
• Enforces safety protocols and conducts safety audits to ensure a safe workplace.
• Troubleshoots and repairs complex manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintains electrical schematics, manuals, and standard operating procedures.
• Provides training to less experienced technicians on operation and maintenance.
• Collaborates with engineering and maintenance on process improvements and upgrades.
• Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives.
• Performs all essential duties with/without accommodation.
• Uses office tools and software as used in Haworth office environment.
