Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Systems Engineer to lead manufacturing schedule development and digital tool deployment at the Roy, UT site. The role requires strong MBOM/OBOM experience, ERP/MES/PLM proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration across programs and supply chain.

The candidate should demonstrate experience in cost/risk analysis, project management, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. A U.S.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelors in Science STEM Degree; 10+ years with Masters; 8+ years with PhD.
• Must be U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain interim Secret clearance pre-start and final Secret clearance post-start.
• Strong experience using software for manufacturing (ERP, MES, PLM/PDM).
• Experience deploying new digital tools and technologies.
• Experience developing proposals for executive leadership and calculating ROI.
• Strong experience in Manufacturing Systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops cost/risk benefit summaries and recommendations for leadership.
• Experience with Project Management and manufacturing schedules software tools.
• Engage and collaborate with programs and functional organizations to understand requirements.
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolutions.
• Develop and manage achievable production schedules for an entire factory servicing multiple businesses.
