Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr Staff Manufacturing Systems Engineer to support Production Operations Systems and Technologies in Roy, UT. The role focuses on system integration, digital tooling deployment, and manufacturing flow optimization across the shop floor and Global Supply Chain.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, craft cost/risk analyses, and develop production schedules while ensuring timely resolution of issues. U.S.

Qualifications

• Fourteen years of relevant experience with a B.S. in STEM; more with advanced degrees.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Interim and final Secret clearance.
• Strong experience using manufacturing software (ERP, MES, PLM/PDM).
• Experience leading teams for software or process solutions.
• Experience developing proposals for executive leadership and ROI.
• Strong capability in system architecture and digital tooling deployment.
• Experience with cost management, data analysis, and scheduling tools.
• Ability to collaborate across programs and organizations to define requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support Production Operation Systems and Technology team.
• System integration for Production Operations Systems & Technologies.
• Develop cost/risk summaries and leadership recommendations.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage production schedules.
• Document, track, and monitor issues to timely resolution.
• Utilize value stream mapping and process-improvement methods.
• Engage with programs to interpret manufacturing facilitation requirements.
• Demonstrate strong organizational planning and communication.
