RTX in Poulsbo, WA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with manufacturing expertise to support a range of programs onsite. You will interface with material program managers, manufacturing teams, and quality groups to deliver engineering solutions and ensure quality throughout low-rate production and sustainment.

The role emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and a proactive mindset to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in a dynamic, high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering with integration/testing focus.
• Experience creating and reviewing mechanical drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot challenges and lead technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to validate performance.
• Develop and propose new concepts delivering customer value.
• Support integration and testing to ensure operational success.
• Prepare detailed data to propose changes to testing equipment, processes, or procedures.
• Partner with design engineering to implement hardware enhancements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians.
• Monitor yields, identify detractors, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead program meetings to report yield performance and corrective actions.
