Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Development Engineer for our Tucson, AZ site. You will lead and coordinate projects across extended value streams, building influential relationships with internal stakeholders and driving manufacturability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is required.
• Experience with manufacturing process development or improvement.
• Ability to obtain interim Secret U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects across extended value streams and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Develop Manufacturing Data Packages including assembly instructions, workflow, and labor standards.
• Provide technical input to engineering designs and design changes; guide factory engineers.
• Apply manufacturing engineering skills to resolve constraints and improve product designs.
