Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5–10+ years of technical sales or applications engineering in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of machining, automation, robotics, or industrial equipment.
- Ability to translate technical concepts to business value.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel 30–50%.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new manufacturing opportunities with ROI analyses.
- Develop technical sales presentations and proposals.
- Lead solution development and support cost justifications.
- Conduct on-site assessments and provide post-sale support.
- Collaborate with product, R&D, and engineering to capture feedback.
- Stay informed on industry trends and forecast planning.
