Job summary

Bpp Mfg is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive revenue in the manufacturing sector by blending technical know-how with strategic sales acumen. You will partner with customers to understand needs, recommend tailored manufacturing solutions, and support the full sales cycle from discovery to implementation.

The role requires translating complex technical concepts into clear business value, leading solution development, and collaborating across engineering, production, and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field and 5–10+ years in technical sales or applications engineering.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, automation, robotics, etc.).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target manufacturing markets.
• Develop and deliver technical sales presentations, proposals, and ROI analyses.
• Lead solution development by assessing customer needs and recommending manufacturing systems, equipment or services.
• Manage key accounts and maintain long-term strategic relationships.
• Support contract negotiations with technical insights, feasibility validation, and cost justification.
• Provide on-site assessments of customer processes, equipment, and production challenges.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to design customized solutions and ensure proposal accuracy.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including system demonstrations and training.
