Job summary

McKinstry is hiring a Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Operations for the Offsite Manufacturing division in Seattle, WA. You will lead daily value-stream operations, ensure safe and efficient production, and partner across functions to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Responsibilities include scheduling, workforce management, and driving lean projects. You will coach a high-performing team, manage budgets, and advance continuous improvement using kaizen methods to shorten cycle times

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 8+ years of progressive manufacturing or plant operations leadership, including 3+ years managing a production facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of assigned locations and value streams, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality production of modular products.
• Set operational direction for value streams and drive continuous improvement across people, processes, and systems.
• Manage value stream performance to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Act as the primary operational leader, collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering, Operation Excellence, Value Stream Management, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver predictable outcomes.
