Job summary

McKinstry is seeking an EHS Director to lead safety across its offsite manufacturing network in Seattle, WA. You will set multi-year safety strategy, build a team of safety professionals, and partner with operations leadership to embed safety into fabrication.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing safety, CSP/CIH preferred, and deep knowledge of OSHA standards, hazard analyses, and lean continuous improvement. This role offers competitive pay and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour (General Industry) required; CSP/CIH preferred.
• 10+ years in manufacturing safety and safety leadership.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industrial hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safety strategy and multi-site programs for the offsite manufacturing network.
• Build and coach a team of safety professionals and managers.
• Develop and implement safety training, audits and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI and other regs.
• Promote a culture of stop-work authority and continuous improvement.
• Partner with executive leadership on three-year safety roadmaps.
