Job summary

Ferrotec (USA) Corporation in Livermore, CA is seeking a Full-Time Procurement Specialist to manage material, supplier relations, and cost optimization. You will review requisitions, obtain quotes, develop procurement strategies, and collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, QC, Engineering, and Sales to meet delivery and cost targets.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4 years’ experience; bilingual English and Chinese preferred; base pay ranges from $85,000

Qualifications

• Ability to act as a mentor.
• Preferred: ability to communicate in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Review requisitions for accuracy and completeness; obtain quotations.
• Initiate quote activity and expedite supplier responses.
• Manage delivery and cost improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain a supplier base meeting quality, cost and capacity targets.
• Interface with Planning, Manufacturing, QC, Engineering, and Sales as required.
• Conduct supplier performance analysis and maintain procurement data.
