Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/BA required in a related field; manufacturing focus preferred.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience (aerospace, forging, machining backgrounds preferred).
• Supervisory experience leading teams of 100+ people; performance management skills.
• Analytical, organized, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and QAD; familiarity with productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production schedules to fulfill orders.
• Analyze performance standards and optimize labor, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Lead a 100+ person team; interview, hire, train, direct and evaluate staff.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, production control, finance, HR and suppliers to meet targets.
• Drive continuous improvements in quality, cost, safety and on-time delivery.
• Maintain a positive, productive work environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
