Job summary

Advanced Energy seeks a Senior Manager of Manufacturing to lead operations across multiple sites, focusing on complex electronic and electromechanical products and assemblies. You will drive efficiency, quality, delivery, and safety while guiding manufacturing supervisors and teams.

The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in electronics, semiconductor, optics, or high-tech manufacturing, with collaboration across Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in manufacturing operations with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Manufacturing experience in electronics, electromechanical systems, semiconductor equipment, or similar complex products.
• Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes (PCB/PCBA, assembly, testing, inspection, repair).
• Experience with process control, traceability, quality management, and configuration/change control.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, continuous improvement methods.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP and production planning, scheduling, inventory management.
• Ability to lead and develop manufacturing supervisors and teams.
• Experience partnering with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product/Program teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations across multiple AE locations, focusing on complex products.
• Ensure production efficiency, quality, delivery, safety, and cost effectiveness.
• Provide strategic and hands-on leadership to supervisors and production teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues and support new product introductions.
