Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering to lead the Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering teams, translating engineering intent into production-ready systems.

This role drives layout, capacity modeling, and tooling strategies for current and future plants. You will partner across Product Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Facilities to ensure readiness, standardization, and successful launches of complex, high-mix

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or related technical field with leadership of engineering teams.
• Experience translating product designs and eBOMs into mBOMs, routings, manufacturing methods, and production documentation.
• Strong experience with plant layout, value-stream design, capacity analysis, equipment planning, production flow, and line balancing.
• Experience using manufacturing simulation, analytical modeling, or digital engineering tools to evaluate production scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and align the Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering teams.
• Establish common engineering standards, governance, tools, and deliverables for manufacturing system design and product industrialization.
• Develop roadmaps to support volume growth, product complexity, and plant expansion.
• Define decision rights and handoffs among Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, and supporting functions.
• Build a scalable engineering capability with reusable standards.
