Job summary
Advanced Energy is seeking a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations to oversee multi-site production, drive efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on management across sites, including international travel to Germany.
Ideal candidates have 8+ years in manufacturing operations with leadership experience, a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field, and experience with Lean/Six Sigma and ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and production planning tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations across multiple locations.
- Ensure production schedules are met and resources are optimized.
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma and other process improvement initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop manufacturing supervisors and staff.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on production strategies and capacity planning.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
