Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager Manufacturing to lead the AR5 Solution Preparation organization in a 24/7 biomanufacturing network. You will oversee a team of over 50 staff, ensuring safe, compliant operations and strong performance across four shifts.

The role emphasizes capacity planning, continuous improvement, and mentoring Front‑Line Managers to align with AR5 and AR30 objectives while advancing digital, data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years direct people management or leadership experience.
• Experience in manufacturing operations and regulatory compliance.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Solution Preparation organization to meet 24/7 production goals.
• Oversee Front-Line Managers and ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and digital tooling adoption across AR5/AR30.
• Plan capacity, coordinate with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Develop talent and foster a culture of learning and accountability.
• Support readiness for process improvements and changeovers.
