Job summary

Integra LifeSciences is hiring a Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician in Puerto Rico to maintain and support manufacturing process equipment, perform diagnostics and repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance on devices such as Multivac machines, sealers, and molding presses. The role requires PLC/electrical knowledge and ability to work on 3rd shift (Tue–Sun, 10pm–6:30am) and to read English/Spanish.

Responsibilities include setting up tools, documenting maintenance, complying with safety

Qualifications

Technical School graduate or equivalent in electronic or electromechanical field.
Three (3) year experience as Electronic Technician or certified industrial mechanic in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industry.
Knowledge in electronic and instrumentation techniques.
General knowledge of PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, Omron, Hitachi).
Knowledge in preventive maintenance software (Maximo or Oracle).
Knowledge in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps and motors.
Knowledge in HVAC or refrigeration systems (desirable).
Basic computer skills (MS Office, SCADA).
Ability to work in challenging environments with noise and grease.
Ability to read English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Maintain and support manufacturing process machinery to keep it running smoothly.
Perform tests and calibrations on equipment; repair or replace defective parts.
Interpret diagnostic and control system data to troubleshoot issues.
Conduct preventive/predictive maintenance on equipment such as Multivac seals, molding presses, pumps, etc.
Assist in installation of new production equipment and tooling.
Maintain records and ensure safety, environmental and security procedures are followed.
