Job summary

FITS LLC in Puerto Rico is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the manufacturing area. The role requires an Associate Degree and at least one year of industrial mechanics experience, bilingual in English and Spanish, and project management skills.

Shift is non-standard from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, based on business needs. You will troubleshoot semi- and fully automated equipment, work with pneumatics, electro-pneumatics, instrumentation, lasers, and vision systems, and perform calibration, testing,

Qualifications

Associate Degree with one year of experience in industrial mechanics within the regulated industry.
Bilingual English & Spanish.
Project Management skills.

Experience in troubleshooting semi- and fully-automated equipment; pneumatics, electro-pneumatics, instrumentation, lasers, and vision systems.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
