Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in Nebraska-based facilities seeks an experienced engineer to support and optimize manufacturing equipment and processes on an onsite basis.

You will implement long-term corrective actions, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and collaborate with internal/external teams to meet timelines. Required are a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 5+ years of maintenance leadership, and experience with FDA regulations and automation systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related schooling; work experience may substitute.
• Minimum 5 years progressive maintenance and leadership experience.
• Experience with FDA regulations related to facilities, maintenance and equipment repair.
• Experience in managing projects and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Scope project requirements for equipment and process optimization development projects.
• Collaborate on creation of user and equipment requirements and timelines.
• Support development, execution and documentation of project assignments per governance.
• Provide engineering assistance to keep production equipment operating efficiently.
• Analyze equipment and recommend design changes or component replacements as needed.
• Support LEAN improvements for safety, reliability, and cost reductions.
