Job summary
West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking an experienced engineer for a fully onsite role in Nebraska to support new projects and continuous improvement for manufacturing equipment. You will drive project execution, lead maintenance initiatives, and implement processes that improve safety, efficiency, and reliability across facilities.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance leadership, experience with automation and FDA-related requirements, and a proven ability to manage complex
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years progressive maintenance and leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with FDA regulations related to Facilities, Maintenance and Equipment repair required.
- Experience managing projects and with automation systems required.
Responsibilities
- Scope project requirements for new equipment and process optimization development projects.
- Collaborate on creation of user and equipment requirements.
- Support development, execution and documentation of project assignments per timelines and governance policies.
- Execute facility Strategic Plan related to equipment replacements or upgrades.
- Provide engineering assistance to keep production equipment operating at optimum efficiency.
- Evaluate existing equipment and facility systems and recommend improvements.
- Assist with validation/engineering evaluations for manufacturing equipment.
