Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services in Indiana is expanding its manufacturing capabilities and seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to initiate and enhance systems to improve process control and finished goods quality. You will provide technical support to manufacturing and work with facilities and customers in a Six Sigma framework.

This role requires a Bachelor's or equivalent experience, 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, and experience with Lean/Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 3 years related experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience with four (4) years of practical application a plus.
• Able to comply with safety and quality policies and SOPs as related to the role.

Responsibilities

• Apply and support lean manufacturing initiatives, identifying reduction opportunities.
• Specify, test and design machine systems and components, including software configurations.
• Lead engineering projects to maximize output or minimize cost through equipment/method improvements.
• Plan, schedule, and manage project details and ensure proper implementation.
