Northrop Grumman in Elkton, MD seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager 3 to lead the Manufacturing and Infrastructure engineering team. You will drive operational excellence, compliance, and New Product Introduction across campus fabrication areas.

The role requires a STEM degree, 10+ years in manufacturing/engineering, 5 years of leadership, and the ability to partner with cross-functional leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 10+ years in manufacturing/engineering.
• 5 years demonstrated experience leading and building teams.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Experience with resource planning/allocation and managing to a budget.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and direct Engineering on all aspects of manufacturing- design; development qualification, pre-production readiness, production, real-time floor support, and efficient, compliant, streamlined processes.
• Oversee Engineering in cross-functional collaboration to ensure process readiness and on-schedule production operations.
• Direct continuous improvement and lean manufacturing/ six sigma objectives to maintain safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure all Engineering activities comply with business and regulatory requirements.
• Establish department goals, KPIs, and resource plans aligned with company objectives.
