Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Manager Manufacturing Engineering 3 in Clearfield, UT. The role leads the Manufacturing Engineering organization within the Aeronautics Systems unit, guiding 50–90 engineers and 4–6 engineering managers on manufacturing processes and production layouts.

The position offers either 1st or 2nd shift with every other Friday off, growth opportunities, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of engineering experience in production assembly/fabrication or a Master’s Degree with 5 years.
• Minimum 3 years of prior leadership experience in a related field.
• Active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance or eligibility for SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Designs manufacturing processes and production layouts for assemblies and tooling.
• Plans machine layout and sequence of operations to optimize efficiency.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Guides engineering on design and manufacturing techniques for best equipment utilization.
• Manages budget and leads a team of engineers and managers.
• Oversees production performance and initiates corrective actions for improvements.
