Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Mocksville, NC is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to develop and execute manufacturing strategies, optimize production capabilities, and implement new technologies onsite.

This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive readiness for new product introductions, manage capital investments, and deliver scalable, cost-effective production solutions. Bachelor's in Engineering and 10+ years of manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Engineering required.
10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a capital-intensive, highly engineered product business.

Responsibilities

Develop the manufacturing road map to maximize machine utilization while minimizing cost.
Assist Make vs Buy decisions for product introductions and footprint plans.
Provide capex input for startup of future state processes.
Lead manufacturing project development through IRPX program gates.
Procure tooling, machines, and equipment to support capacity and roadmaps.
Ensure operator and maintenance training meets standards and sign-off requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management, and suppliers to optimize cost and manufacturability.
Serve as a key stakeholder on large, complex programs impacting the business.
