Job summary

Sub-Zero Group, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Leader to guide a small team and drive manufacturing processes for new products from concept to launch.

You will define process flows, tooling, and capacity, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with product, quality, and operations teams to ensure cost, quality, and schedule goals are met. Strong leadership and project management are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 7-10 years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring other engineers.
• Experience developing and implementing manufacturing or assembly processes.
• Experience managing technical projects, equipment, tooling, and capital investments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Ability to work across engineering and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team of manufacturing engineers while remaining actively engaged in project work.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new products from concept to production launch.
• Define process flow, labor, equipment, tooling, fixtures, and capacity requirements to meet targets.
• Provide manufacturing input through PFMEA, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, prototype builds, and other product development activities.
• Design and develop assembly fixtures and tooling required for new manufacturing processes.
• Define equipment requirements and manage capital projects from concept to installation through production readiness.
• Plan and facilitate prototype and pre-production builds to identify issues and improve products and processes.
• Develop manufacturing project plans and manage deliverables, priorities, risks, and schedules for product launch.
• Collaborate with product engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, suppliers to resolve technical issues and deliver manufacturing solutions.
• Develop process documentation and work with production teams to implement and continuously improve new processes.
