Sub-Zero Group, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a small team, drive new product introductions from concept through production launch, and optimize processes for quality, cost, and efficiency.

You will collaborate with product engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, and suppliers to resolve technical issues, develop fixtures, define equipment needs, and manage capital projects, delivering robust manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Experience developing and implementing manufacturing or assembly processes.
• Experience managing technical projects, equipment, tooling, and/or capital investments.
• Ability to lead, mentor, or provide technical direction to other engineers.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Ability to effectively work across engineering and manufacturing operations.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a small team of manufacturing engineers while remaining actively engaged in engineering project work.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new products from early concept through production launch.
• Define process flow, labor, equipment, tooling, fixtures, and capacity requirements to achieve targets.
• Provide manufacturing input through design reviews, PFMEA, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, prototype builds, and other activities.
• Design and develop assembly fixtures and tooling for new processes.
• Define equipment requirements and manage capital projects from concept to installation and production readiness.
• Plan and facilitate prototype and pre-production builds to identify and improve issues.
• Develop manufacturing project plans and manage deliverables, priorities, risks, and schedules.
• Partner with product engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, suppliers to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
• Develop process documentation and work with production teams to implement and continuously improve processes.
