Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Sr Engineer Manufacturing to strengthen reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of processing and facility systems at the Stuarts Draft plant in Virginia. The role leads engineering and capital projects from concept through start-up, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, vendors, and contractors.

You will apply engineering standards, GMP requirements, and project governance while mentoring plant partners and project teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering, process engineering or project management experience.
• Experience with regulated manufacturing environments (GMP) is required.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex engineering and capital projects from concept to start-up.
• Provide technical oversight for plant processing and facility systems.
• Develop and maintain process documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, specs, validation records).
• Coordinate testing, validation, and integration across functions and vendors.
