Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join its Technical Center in Hershey, PA. You will lead the design, execution, and implementation of capital projects with cross-functional teams, ensuring robust process solutions for North American manufacturing.

Travel may be required; a strong background in process engineering, GMPs, and plant start- up support is essential. This role reports to the Senior Manager in the Process Engineering Group.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in process design in food/pharma industries.
• Strong understanding of sanitary design and construction practices and GMPs.
• Experience with process piping systems, equipment, and automation/instrumentation.
• Proven ability to lead projects and teams with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and detailed engineering design for capital projects.
• Develop PFD & P&ID and equipment specifications; estimate costs.
• Coordinate installation, checkout, and commissioning of systems.
• Train manufacturing personnel on operating parameters and processes.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for projects.
