Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Staff Process Engineer (Engineer V) at the Technical Center in Hershey, PA, to lead complex capital projects from concept through commissioning. You will design processes, estimate costs, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and QA to deliver results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in food processing or related industries.
• BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Food, Agricultural, or related Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, sanitary design, and process safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and detailed engineering design and cost estimation for capital projects.
• Oversee implementation, execution, and commissioning of capital projects.
• Mentor peers and manage cross-functional teams.
• Provide process optimization and startup support.
• Lead training of manufacturing personnel on key operating parameters.
