Job summary

The Hershey Company seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead conceptual and detailed engineering design for capital projects at the Hershey PA site. You will oversee cost estimation, scheduling, and collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and procurement to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient processes.

Reporting to the Senior Manager in the Process Engineering Group, you will manage project teams, coordinate installation and startup activities, and mentor co-ops or interns while upholding

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Food, Agricultural, or related Engineering field.
• Knowledge of process design for food and pharma, including GMPs and Food Safety.
• Understanding of process piping systems, food manufacturing equipment, and process automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and detailed engineering design and cost estimation for capital projects.
• Coordinate equipment installation, checkout, and commissioning.
• Provide process support, troubleshooting, and optimization during startup.
• Lead training of manufacturing personnel on key operating parameters.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for process-focused capital projects.
