Job summary

The Hershey Company in Whitestown, Indiana, is seeking a Factory Engineering Manager to lead technical assurance, drive capital project delivery, and oversee safety and reliability across sites. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Quality, and R&D to optimize capital investments and enhance manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering with project/program management and capital delivery.
• Experience with stage-gate processes, SAP, budgeting, and industrial controls.
• PMP certification and/or EIT/PE licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, reliable, cost-effective performance of process equipment and facilities.
• Guide safety culture via Safety by Design and safe capital project execution.
• Develop staffing plans and shape the five-year capital plan with the Senior Technical Assurance Manager.
• Manage full lifecycle of small and minor capital projects (scope, schedule, budgets, cash-flow, risk, stage-gate).
• Act as factory technical representative for major capital investments and coordinate requirements.
• Partner with Operations and Maintenance on continuous improvement and problem resolution.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies with R&D and engage with external partners.
• Coach team members and share PM best practices.
