Job summary

The Hershey Company in Hershey, PA (with remote option near a US plant) seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead conceptual and detailed design, execution, and optimization of capital projects in North America.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will guide cross-functional teams, develop PFDs/P&IDs, ensure GMP and food safety compliance, and mentor co-ops or interns. Some travel will be required to support projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in process design for food/pharma industries
• BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Food, Agricultural or related engineering
• Experience with sanitary design, GMPs and food safety
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage capital projects

Responsibilities

• Lead capital project design, cost estimation and execution for NA manufacturing
• Coordinate installation, commissioning, and startup support
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs; select equipment specs
• Manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams
