Job summary

Brazeway is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing/Process Engineer to optimize quality, productivity, and cost in our Shelbyville, Indiana facility. The role leads major improvements, designs new equipment, and collaborates with R&D and suppliers to drive efficiency.

The engineer will ensure safe operations, maintain engineering data, and support plant management with technical guidance. Strong communication and GAAP-adjacent resource coordination may be involved.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills and ability to interact with multiple departments.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Extrusion experience or hydraulic presses and metal forming preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Applies engineering principles to improve processes, reduce cost, and improve quality.
• Designs manufacturing processes meeting product, delivery, and cost requirements; manages equipment design and tooling.
• Leads development programs bringing new ideas to production in collaboration with R&D and external partners.
• Provides technical support to account managers.
• Maintains engineering data base: BOMs, routing, drawings, process sheets.
• Ensures plant safety and regulatory compliance; completes required reports.
