Job summary

Brazeway is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our Shelbyville, Indiana team. You will apply engineering and manufacturing technology to improve quality, productivity, and costs while acting as a value stream leader for major plant expenditures and process improvements.

You will lead projects, collaborate with R&D and external partners, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across plants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Extrusion experience or experience with hydraulic presses and metal forming preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Applies engineering analyses to improve processes by reducing cost, improving quality, and increasing capability.
• Designs/manages new machines and tooling; leads major project initiatives and cost savings.
• Provides technical support to account managers and liaises with partners as needed.
• Maintains engineering data like Bills of Materials, routing, and process sheets.
• Ensures a safe, compliant plant environment per local and federal requirements.
