Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with process equipment, steel machining and welding.
• Hands-on equipment troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software and CAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Review and improve existing manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Ensure equipment, processes, and tooling operate at satisfactory levels.
• Perform process capability studies.
• Identify and implement safety and productivity improvements.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Document work standards and instructions.
• Investigate production concerns; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Identify new equipment, processes, and tooling; oversee procurement, plant layout, installations, and validations.
• Initiate capital budget requests and justify manufacturing proposals.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program development and implementation.
• Ensure EH&S policy compliance as defined by Stanley Black & Decker and regulators.
