Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Plant Manager for an on-site role in Stanfield, NC. You will lead daily manufacturing operations, drive cost and schedule performance, and develop a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in manufacturing operations, a Bachelor’s in a related field (MBA preferred), and experience with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, and IATF. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of related progressive manufacturing operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Site P&L responsibility experience.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, and IATF.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and leadership of all resources.
• Oversee schedule adherence, productivity, training, and department goals.
• Develop cross-training matrix and mentor staff.
• Improve production efficiency and product quality through cross-functional problem solving.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives are met.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for procurement and delivery planning.
• Resolve discrepancies with Engineering and Quality to address root causes.
