Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturing excellence across production processes. You will lead process improvements, design and implement manufacturing strategies, and collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and design teams to raise efficiency and quality.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing tools.
Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Lead and support process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, strategy, and tooling to improve production efficiency and product quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and design engineering to resolve manufacturing issues.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Support new product introductions by providing design for manufacturing feedback and developing manufacturing processes.
Create and maintain process documentation including standard work, work instructions, PFMEAs and control plans.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed.
Participate in capital equipment selection and justification.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related issues.
