Job summary
Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead lean initiatives and drive operational excellence at the Grenada facility. You will partner with production, quality, and maintenance to implement standardized work and data-driven improvements.
The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing engineering or continuous improvement, with strong skills in Lean, RCA, and data analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
- 5+ years in continuous improvement or manufacturing engineering roles.
- Experience with Lean methods and data-driven problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Lead Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED) to improve throughput.
- Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and develop plans.
- Drive RCA and corrective actions for recurring issues.
- Lead cross-functional improvement projects to increase capacity and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance on standardized work.
- Monitor KPIs and measure the impact of improvements.
- Perform time studies, line balancing, and capacity analyses.
- Mentor frontline staff on Lean tools and concepts.
- Support new equipment and process implementations from Lean perspective.
