Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company seeks an Operations Manager to lead daily production operations, align with the Site Leader, and drive Lean and 80/20 initiatives to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing.

You will oversee planning, cost control, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement with Engineering and Design teams, build a capable workforce, and ensure on-time production while upholding health, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, HVAC/industrial equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with manufacturing software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production to meet plans and budgets.
• Lead Lean and 80/20 initiatives to improve quality, efficiency and cost.
• Develop and mentor hourly and salaried production staff.
• Implement KPI tracking, safety programs, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, design and supply chain teams.
