Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to analyze problems, develop costed solutions, and guide projects from concept to execution. You will design equipment or specify tools to meet manufacturing needs, coordinating with operating groups and corporate staff on major installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSME or BSEE preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a related technical field is required.
• Work independently on multiple projects of varying complexity.
• Take initiative using past experiences to solve problems.
• Coordinate AFEs for assigned projects.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing problems and develop alternative approaches.
• Evaluate solutions for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain practical knowledge of plant operating systems and equipment.
• Seek improvements by applying state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical tech.
• Keep Manufacturing Engineering Manager informed of project status.
• Prepare tool orders and material requisitions; coordinate with vendors.
