Job summary

Required: a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering and at least three years of manufacturing engineering experience within a facility's operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience providing engineering support in a manufacturing environment.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for interrelated functions, facilities, products or activities to develop solutions for manufacturing challenges.
• Prepare specifications for products, equipment, tooling, processes to optimize cost and quality manufacturability.
• Implement strategies to ensure concurrent engineering and design for manufacturing with the design team.
• Design and justify installation of new concepts, equipment, tooling, processes to achieve optimum cost.
• Deploy Lean, Quality and Environment/Safety tools to improve productivity, quality and safety.
• Identify improvements for productivity, quality and business processes; monitor results.
